This release is the 9th in the series and focuses on prevention. The three types of prevention - demand reduction, supply reduction, and harm reduction are explored in this 17 minute segment as well as "age of first use" as an indicator of future problems. The film features Dr. Andrea Barthwell who was former our nation's Deputy Drug Czar.

Intended as a visual companion to the college level text, Uppers Downers, All Arounders, by Dr. Darryl Inaba and William Cohen, each segment in the series runs from 11 to 17 minutes and is designed to enhance the information contained in the text and help educators create context for group discussion, generate questions or clarify an idea.
