Dynamic Duo Won the “Master Licensee of the Year” Award at ActionCOACH’s 2009 EMEA Conference

Ian Christelow and Julie Wagstaff’s ML Leadership team in the U.K. won the “Team of the Year” award amongst their peers in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

London, United Kingdom, April 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- ActionCOACH, the world’s leader in business and executive coaching, recently held its annual 2009 EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) conference for its team of Business Coaches in Europe, Middle East and Africa at the London Metropole Hotel.

The event culminated in the company’s annual awards dinner, where Ian Christelow and Julie Wagstaff were honoured with the coveted “Team of the Year” award.

This is the highest honour for Master Licensees, who are entrusted with the responsibility of not only growing their territories but also providing support to the coaches in their respective territories.

ActionCOACH founder and CEO Brad Sugars presented this award.

“This is a coveted award for our Master Licensees and given the enormous efforts of this duo in England, I am indeed pleased to present this award jointly to Ian and Julie,” Sugars said.

Christelow and Wagstaff felt proud of their team and achievement.

“I feel incredibly proud to be associated with our amazing team of 68 coaches in England. Every week we hear great stories about how our Business Coaches are not only keeping business going in this recession, but also helping their clients grow and achieve their best ever results in a remarkable manner,” Christelow said.

When asked about their plans for 2009, Christelow said they are on a “mission” rather than a plan.

“Our objective is to add an additional 30 coaches to our team to help roll out our incredible systems and proven methodology to 300 more UK businesses in this critical time in the economic cycle,” he said.

The inevitable mention of the economic slowdown took Christelow back three decades to the time his father owned an advertising agency.

“This was in the 1960s and 70s and since my father did not have a coach and financial mastery in his business, his agency went bust,” he said. “What makes this award even more special is the fact that I received it in front of my father who has recently invested in the expansion of our business - the first business he has invested in since setting up his advertising agency 30 years ago.”
