Hollister Creative Completes First International Marketing Materials for CLSI’s Global Health Partnerships

Wynnewood, PA, April 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Materials developed by Hollister Creative are now helping health officials in developing countries learn about a comprehensive program to improve the quality of their clinical laboratories. The Laboratory Strengthening Program, developed by Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute and offered through CLSI’s Global Health Partnerships, is part of the international effort to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.

CLSI, based in Wayne, Pa., is a nonprofit organization best known for its work developing standards and guidelines for clinical and laboratory testing and promoting their use throughout the world. The work of CLSI’s Global Health Partnerships is central to the organization’s outreach efforts in resource-constrained countries, where the availability of accurate, timely medical tests would lead to faster disease diagnosis and treatment.

Laboratory Strengthening Programs have been successful in Cote d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Mali, Namibia, Nigeria and Tanzania. CLSI contracted with Hollister Creative to write and design a marketing kit that would help the organization to introduce its Global Health Partnerships, Laboratory Strengthening Program and related services to health officials in other African and Asian countries.

The marketing kit includes a small overview booklet that can be referenced discreetly or given to a prospect at a social event. Other components are a folder and three brochures: About the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute, Capabilities of Global Health Partnerships, and Services of the Laboratory Strengthening Program. All can be viewed and downloaded at www.clsi.org by choosing News & Events then Global Health Partnerships.
