IIMSAM to Discuss Ahel Al Himmeh in Its Upcoming Doha Round

Dr. Naseer Homoud said that the efforts taken by Her Majesty through this noble assignment of ‘Ahle Himmah’ is apparently serving the basic objectives of United Nations Millennium Developmental Goals and the achievements gained may give an insight to the practicality of achieving humanitarian objectives.

Amman, Jordan, April 28, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The upcoming Doha round of the Intergovernmental Institution for the use of Micro-algae Spirulina against Malnutrition (IIMSAM), a Permanent Observer to the United Nations Economic and Social Council is likely to discuss ‘Ahel Al Himmeh’ initiative of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al- Abdullah of Jordan.

This was announced by the IIMSAM’ Middle East Director and Goodwill Ambassador, Dr. Naseer Shahir Homoud through a press statement.

Dr. Naseer Homoud said that the efforts taken by Her Majesty through this noble assignment of ‘Ahle Himmah’ is apparently serving the basic objectives of United Nations Millennium Developmental Goals and the achievements gained may give an insight to the practicality of achieving humanitarian objectives.

Praising the humanitarian concerns of Her Majesty, Queen Rania, Dr. Naseer Homoud said that her efforts for the society are beyond expectations and Ahel Al Himmeh is one of the glaring examples of achieving UN Millennium Development Goal at individual level.

He further said that IIMSAM will include this agenda in its Doha round discussion which is scheduled in May. The ways and means of Ahle Himmah are being observed and analysed by a number of International Organisations including IIMSAM to develop such unique parameter to involve general masses in the movement aimed for achieving United Nations Millennium Development Goal.

A high level delegation of the officials and Goodwill Ambassadors of the
Intergovernmental Institution for the use of Micro-algae Spirulina against Malnutrition (IIMSAM), the Permanent Observer to the United Nations Economic and Social Council, led by His Excellency Remigio Martin Maradona is scheduled to visit Qatar on May 7, 2009.

The delegation will be in Doha on the invitation of IIMSAM’s Director (Middle East) and Goodwill Ambassador Dr. Naseer Shahir Homoud. During the official trip, the high level officials will visit to a number of organizations including Qatar Foundation, ASPIRE, Shafallah Centre for The Children with Special Needs, Qatar Olympic Committee among others.

He further said that Her Majesty the Queen Rania is all set to bring renaissance in Arab world and she has stepped up to achieve this objective.

He said that the criterions to be awarded with “Ahel Al Himmeh” have covered all spheres of lives and he hoped that winners will be the truly judged by the panel.
