Wesley Hyatt of MMI Associates, Inc. Announces Launch of TVHistorian.com

Chapel Hill, NC, May 01, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Patty Briguglio, president of MMI Associates, Inc., a Raleigh-based public relations firm, has announced that Wesley Hyatt, senior writer for the firm, has launched TVHistorian.com (www.tvhistorian.com), a Web site providing information on all things TV-related, including reviews, commentary and profiles on Emmy-nominated entertainment programs from 1948 to present. In collaboration with designer David Benton of Leaf Designs, Hyatt put 15 years of TV industry research, writing and expertise into the creation of the site. His in-depth research has uncovered historical information available nowhere else. TVHistorian.com currently features profiles on “50 Years of I Love Lucy” and a history of ABC’s daytime schedule, and content will be updated as new TV series, movies and programs are released. To subscribe to the TVHistorian’s RSS feed, visit www.tvhistorian.com.

A Chapel Hill native and resident, Hyatt has written six nonfiction books, including his first, The Encyclopedia of Daytime Television in 1998. His other titles include The Billboard Book of Number One Adult Contemporary Hits; Kicking Off The Week: A History of Monday Night Football; Emmy Award Winning Nighttime Television Series, 1948-2004; A Critical History of Television’s The Red Skelton Show, 1951-1971; and Short-Lived Television Series, 1948-1978. He has interviewed numerous celebrities during his research, including Glen Campbell, Captain and Tennille, Huey Lewis, Tony Orlando, Kenny Rogers, Paul Shaffer, Dionne Warwick and Andy Williams. Hyatt has been interviewed by several media outlets as a TV historian, including The Associated Press, The Arizona Republic, Bloomberg Radio News and Shokus Internet Radio.

“I am excited to finally launch TVHistorian.com,” said Hyatt. “I have been working on the content for almost a year and half, and it offers the public new, in-depth information and commentary on some of television’s greatest programs.”
