Cambean Hospitality’s Clifton South Beach Hotel to Feature Permanent Gallery of Everglades Photography

Miami Beach, FL, May 02, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Cambean Hospitality, a Miami Beach-based hospitality group that owns and manages four boutique hotel properties in the historic South Beach area, today announced that the Clifton South Beach Hotel will feature a photo gallery of the Everglades by renowned landscape photographer Ari Jacobs. The photographs will be displayed throughout the entire property, including the common areas, hallways and guestrooms. The photographs will be available for purchase, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Everglades Foundation through the Cambean Earth Environmental Fund. Installation of the Everglades gallery at the Clifton is a component of the Cambean Earth program, established by Cambean Hospitality to promote environmental conservation in the hospitality industry.

“Having been exposed to Ari’s work for some time, I greatly respect what she’s done and am proud to be presenting this incredible new collection at the Clifton,” commented Brian Scheinblum, president of Cambean Hospitality. “I hope the hotel guests will walk away with a greater appreciation of the Everglades and the need to support the Everglades Foundation.”

When asked about her vision for the collection, Jacobs stated, “The Everglades is such a dynamic and important part of South Florida that I hope to capture the beauty, simplicity and energy of a truly magical location.”

Due to the eco-friendly nature of the Clifton, Scheinblum selected an art and framing supply company that shared the same vision of hospitality stewardship and sustainable responsibility.

Russell A. Glotfelty, president & managing director, HG Art & Framing Consultants (HG), a leading art consulting firm for the international hospitality industry comments, “We always welcome the opportunity to participate in another ‘green’ hospitality project, as the industry has clearly embraced the concept going forward.”

HG has been commissioned to provide the framing and printing of the Everglades photography for the 35 guest suites and for the public spaces as well. HG specified frames produced from post consumer wood (recycled wood products) and recycled mat boards. Additionally, HG utilized water-based inks for the production of the custom Giclée photographic prints and custom framing for both the prints and mirrors as well.
