A Team of Well-Known Invention Experts Are Teaming Up to Help Inventors Succeed in a Tough Economy

The struggling economy is actually a great opportunity for inventors and a group of invention experts have decided to work together to help inventors cash in on the abundance of opportunities now available.

Minneapolis, MN, May 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- There are many uncertainties with today's economy, but Don Debelak and his team of associates are sure of one thing: the level of innovation and inventiveness in the US is set to go through the roof.

"Americans are always very innovative," says Debelak, "but times of prosperity and comfort make us complacent. Countless people already have a great idea, but most of them don't want to take the risk of bringing their product to market since they already have a good job and benefits." But, as Debelak explains, as people start losing their jobs or face economic uncertainty, they start looking for additional sources of income and start thinking about developing their great idea.

Companies are also struggling and are trimming down their operations, often by slashing their research and development departments. This means that companies are no longer producing new ideas, but to stay afloat in a troubled economy, companies need to introduce hot new products. "This is great news for inventors," says Debelak, "because companies need new ideas. In fact, some companies have actually come out asking inventors to submit their ideas. The market has never been friendlier to inventors."

Because of this, Don Debelak has launched his One Stop Invention Shop with a team of high-powered experts to help people take their great new ideas to market. "My son and I have run DonDebelak.com, an inventor help site, for over five years now, and we have been very pleased with our success, both commercially and critically within the industry, but I have often wanted to offer inventors more services, like patent law, which are outside my area of expertise. The new market openness to inventors was really the push that made me decide to put together our new site as a way to help inventors take advantage of this great new opportunity," says Debelak.

The team that Debelak has put together is impressive. Don Debelak has been working with inventors and small businesses for over 25 years and has written four of the best-known invention books of the last 15 years. Intellectual Property Associate, Eric A. Hanscom, has not only been working in IP for over 20 years, but is also an inventor himself with 8 patents. Paul Berman and his company, T2 Design, have been designing and prototyping inventions for over 20 years and are featured on ABC's hit series, "American Inventor". Edith Tolchin, their Manufacturing and Outsourcing Associate, has over 35 years of international trade experience and regularly speaks about offshore manufacturing and importing for inventors. Josh Wallace is an award-winning graphic designer and advertiser who has regularly worked with Debelak for a number of years. And finally Debelak's son, Eric Debelak, who first starting working with Debelak when he was only eight. "I think just growing up around my dad would make almost anyone excited about inventing," says Eric Debelak, "and I certainly couldn't ask for a better teacher. I was already out of college and working for a few years when my dad decided to launch his first website and it was a natural fit to work with him. The team we have put together for this new site is just fabulous. No one offers the level of expertise that our team has."

"We are so excited about our new site and the great opportunities awaiting inventors," says Eric Debelak. "It is a privilege to be a part of the inventing process and also it is a privilege to work with the many talented inventors who come to us. These inventors come from so many different walks of life, but the one thing that unites them is that they have their great idea and are ready to work hard to make it happen. This kind of work gives you hope for America's future because these inventors are driven people, with a dream to succeed, and their hard work and creativity is creating new jobs and a better life, not just for themselves, but for everyone."
