Gluefast Introduces New Animal Glue Machine for Bindery

Neptune, NJ, August 10, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Gluefast Company has sold the Colonel Gluer for forty years to the packaging, converting and bindery industries. The new Colonel AG gluer is an improved machine designed specifically for binderies using animal glues for book covers. Its advanced heating system is solid state controlled with digital temperature readout. The all stainless-steel design and simple operating system means this is a machine designed for many years of service for a demanding industry.

An optional reversing pick-off point assembly (shown at left) presents the operator with the glued cover side up, speeding up the gluing process. As most animal glues require that water be replenished to the glue tray, an automatic water dispensing system is included. The Colonel-AG is available in roller widths of 20”, 26”, 32” and 42”.

The Gluefast Company has manufactured gluing equipment and adhesives for the packaging, converting, and graphics industries for 70 years. Gluefast can be found on the web at www.gluefast.com.
