AutoGo Auto Transport Seeks Port Authority from the Transportation Security Administration

TWI Program prepares drivers for passing TSA Port Security.

Tucson, AZ, May 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Effective June 1, 2009 AutoGo Auto Transport will participate in the Transportation Security Administration program requirements to ensure maritime transportation security. AutoGo will require all drivers delivering car shipments to shipping ports to enroll in the “Transportation Worker Identification Credential “ (TWIC) program. This program is a security measure to ensure that drivers picking up and delivering vehicles to Port are fully compliant with all TSA screen assessments. Credentials are tamper-resistant and biometric.

The program will allow AutoGo Auto Transport to expand international car shipments. AutoGo has the authority to ship vehicles nationwide door-to-door, door-to-port and port-to-door. Under the new certification process, customers will benefit a seamless international auto shipping experience to a wide array of destinations.

“It will give AutoGo customers peace of mind knowing that their driver has additional qualifications and clearance by a rigorous screening process,” commented Gizmo Motto, Operations Manager.

Drivers needing more information on the TWIC enrollment process can contact AutoGo at 520-616-8157.
