BOLT Announces MFP Version of BOLT Bridge

Until now, automating the scanning process from network attached MFP's to Laserfiche has been complicated and often prohibitively expensive to implement. BOLT Bridge MFP provides a simple and affordable way for Laserfiche users to implement distributed scanning using existing office equipment.

Elkhart, IN, May 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- BOLT LTD of Elkhart, Indiana has released BOLT Bridge MFP - a new version of their connector software. BOLT Bridge MFP provides automated document naming, indexing, and routing of image files directly into Laserfiche from ‘watched’ folders. Users can take advantage of the BOLT Bridge customizable document profile function from any scanner, MFP, fax server, or application that can send image files to a local or network shared folder. Watched folders can be defined for each (up to nine) different document profile.

According to Jeff Nelson (BOLT VP) the new MFP version will dramatically simplify scanning into Laserfiche from local or network attached scan devices. “Previous versions of BOLT Bridge worked only with supported document scanners to provide ‘one button’ style scanning. With the new MFP version people can scan, copy, or send imaged document files to designated folders and accomplish the same thing. The result is dramatically faster and easier scanning of frequently captured documents into Laserfiche systems.”
