Cygnus Inc. Introduces New Hallway Computing Solution

New hallway computer workstation for electronic charting. The door will automatically fold up when the clinician walks away to meet all hallway safety restrictions. The Hallway cabinet comes equipped to hold up to a 19" display.

Petoskey, MI, May 09, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Cygnus is proud to announce a new addition to its complete line of wall mounted EHR computing and charting stations. The low profile hallway unit packs a great deal of technology into a small space.

The vertical workstation offers separate stacked compartments for the CPU and for the display/keyboard/mouse to give the cleanest look and prevent unauthorized CPU access. Most fire codes require that any wall-mounted device in a hospital hallway be less than 4" deep. In some cases a 3.5" depth is the maximum allowed. The vertical workstation gives the maximum amount of usable space while taking the minimum of horizontal wall space.

The door automatically closes when the clinician walks away to meet all hallway safety restrictions. The hallway cabinet comes equipped to hold up to a 21" display to allow for full viewing of the patient chart and the 3.25" interior depth will accommodate most Small Form Factor PCs.
