Beauty Event Brings Luck to Vendors

12 week event to entice Vegas Residents and Visitors to Venetian Hotel

Las Vegas, NV, May 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Neutrogena, Roc, Aveeno, Coppertone, Coty and L’Oreal are participating in a 12 week beauty program which is coordinated by Cosmetic Promotions Inc - a National marketing firm that specializes in mass beauty product promotion. On various Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between now and July 18th there will be professional makeovers, Gift with Purchase opportunities, coupons and sampling to promote these brands at a New Walgreens store located in the Venetian Hotel. In addition, consumers can also enter for a chance to win a “Branded Beauty Basket” prize for every day of each vendor’s event. The May 1st weekend kick off resulted in more than 5 pieces per hour in sales. Customers left the store feeling like a winner.

Two brands are teamed and promoted on each day of the schedule and the brands are rotated over the 12 week period. Professional makeup artists will be demonstrating L’Oreal’s Tru Match powder and customers receive L’Oreal Skin Genesis samples as a gift. Coppertone is offering samples Plus a free beach bag as a gift with any Coppertone purchase. Consumers can get a new look with a Neutrogena makeover featuring their new Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Foundation, Nourishing Eye Quad and Nourishing Eye Liner. Plus, there will be “How to Keep your Skin Young” demonstrations on RoC skincare and the Aveeno Positively Ageless skincare line and customers can get money saving coupons on those brands. And, with every Baby Phat fragrance purchase, customers get a Free Baby Phat purse or cosmetic bag – over a $25 value. To finish the event with a flourish, the nationally famous hairstylist, Samy, is scheduled to make a personal appearance on July 18th and 19th and help consumers with their “bad hair-day” problems.

These events will be running every weekend through July 2009 from 11am-5pm at the Walgreens located at the southeast corner of Sands Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard inside the resort complex.
