ActionCOACH Stuart Goodfellow Believes There is a Growing Need for Business Coaching

As part of his preliminary research into the franchise, Goodfellow talked to local community leaders, accountants, solicitors, business owners and local councils; they all agreed a real need existed for this type of service.

Las Vegas, NV, May 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Stuart Goodfellow has joined ActionCOACH - the world’s foremost business and executive caching franchise, led by founder and CEO Brad Sugars.

As soon as he completed his certification as a Business Coach, Master Licensee Stan Jordan welcomed Goodfellow to his ActionCOACH team in Australia.

He will be practicing on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.

“My family and I relocated to the NSW mid-north coast from Europe and the process of investigating career and business opportunities in the new region led me to explore a variety of business ventures to grow and develop,” he said. “What soon became apparent was the number of business owners looking for assistance to grow their business; I was searching for a solution to fill the gap when I discovered ActionCOACH.”

Goodfellow talked to local community leaders, accountants, solicitors, business owners and the local council; they all agreed a real need existed for this type of service.

“The business community led me to believe there was an unmet business need; however, my business and science background forced me to undertake further market research, during the course of which I posed a lot of questions to friends and business colleagues on their views and experiences regarding business coaching,” he said.

In doing so, Goodfellow found two views.

“The majority of my contacts had been ‘touched’ by a Business Coach; these are clearly advocates,” he said. “The minority believed there was a need, but hadn’t explored it further. The evidence was patently obvious and I stepped it up a gear.”

As a result of his extensive research, Goodfellow was impressed by ActionCOACH.

“ActionCOACH provides much more than I had initially expected. The global business presence of a proven coaching process and systems is amazing but the real surprise is the strong network of quality coaches throughout Australia and the world,” he said. “While the number of coaches is inspiring, it is their proactive approach to genuinely help business owners as well as fellow coaches that is really impressive.”

There were a number of other factors that strengthened Goodfellow’s decision to join ActionCOACH.

“My family and I have been fortunate to have worked and lived all over the world. With the goal of returning to Australia and gaining stability, I moved the entire family back here,” he said. “For me –it was also time to utilize my business experiences by engaging in an enterprise to coach others with their businesses.”

In addition to this, when Goodfellow spoke with current and former clients of ActionCOACH as part of his initial research, they all made the same two comments.

“The comments that resonated across the board were: ‘When you want to grow your business, call ActionCOACH,’ and ‘Do it now because they’re in hot demand, ActionCOACH is simply that good!’ These were indeed encouraging statements from the company’s raving fans,” he said.

Prior to joining ActionCOACH, Goodfellow worked with the strategic business unit of a blue chip pharmaceutical company in their global head office in Switzerland. He has also worked in the corporate world in Australia and held national marketing, sales management, sales, retail management and HR positions. His industry experience extends across the pharmaceutical, veterinary, retail and agricultural industries.

Goodfellow’s past career was flanked by many achievements.

He successfully aligned and guided business teams to exceed sales and business goals and provided strategic direction and focus for key business units. He also significantly improved customer satisfaction by educating key physicians in the pharmaceutical sector to a new level of patient management.

Goodfellow is excited about the journey of assisting business owners to set and reach new goals for themselves and their business and believes he has the skills-set for this.

“Coaches assist business owners and senior management through extracting their real goals and aligning the business to reach those goals – a process that involves plenty of listening, asking the right questions and challenging the client to take ownership of their potential success,” he said. “My proven success with past customers, sales teams, business unit managers and country heads provides a strong working platform from which new clients will prosper.”

A member of the Port Macquarie Surf Life Saving Club, Goodfellow is also a member of the Hastings Chamber of Commerce.
