Piensa Más Allá… Think Beyond… Again for the Palomita Education Fund

At Second Annual Pink Carpet Event The Palomita Education Fund Celebrates Creative Expression Within the Latino Community.

San Francisco, CA, May 15, 2009 --(PR.com)-- VIPs of the Latino community will rejoin the Palomita Education Fund for a second time in celebration and support of fashion, art and Latino culture on May 29th, 2009 at TERRA SF in San Francisco. The Second Annual Piensa Más Allá, or Think Beyond, is a truly luxurious evening to celebrate creative expression while raising thousands of dollars in support of education within the Latino community. After a pink carpet arrival, guests will sip on Tommy Bahama spirits cocktails, Amate tequila, Frias Winery wines and Corona beers while enjoying traditional Mexican hors d’oeuvres from Casa Sanchez and Belinda Chocolates. The cocktail hour and cocktail auction will ready over 400 guests for the climax of the charitable evening, a fashion show and live auction where guests will have the opportunity to compete for their favorite celebrity-designed, special-edition tees. Whether bidding on the trendy Palomita designs of celebrities like actress’ Eva Longoria Parker, Raquel Welch or Rosario Dawson or the cool Chucho® designs of sports stars like Tony Romo, Tony Gonzalez or actors Andy Garcia or Walter Perez, guests can show their support to a fund that supports Latino students seeking higher education in the US.

The Palomita and Chucho® brands were created by apparel industry veteran and Mexico City native Molly Robbins. The brands’ taglines are, “Por fin una marca para tí” (Finally a brand for you), with fashion-forward use of logos and characters from all over Latin America, the brands truly capture the essence of the Latino lifestyle and pride. The success of the brands gave way to another goal for its founder, establishing an education fund for Latinos across the United States. “The Palomita Education Fund makes it possible to support extraordinary Latinos pursuing higher education, and the continued support we have received from businesses, celebrities, and the community is wonderful,” says Robbins. “We look forward to an even bigger and better event than last year. This one event creates and impact for the entire year!” For more information and limited ticket sales visit www.PalomitaClothing.com/events.
