Come Ride with Momentum Fitness

Momentum Fitness challenges their clients to a month long biking challenge where they will try to bike the total distance across Canada.

Vancouver, Canada, May 17, 2009 --( Come ride with Momentum Fitness

With so much rain and snow last winter it's no wonder that during the beautiful summer months Vancouverites take advantage. We get out in that sun and do everything active that we possibly can in the limited time that we have. A favourite of almost everyone is biking.

June is bike month, a month where the emphasis is put on Vancouver's fastest growing method of transportation. With over 300 km of bike routes in the city and plans to expand to over 400km by the end of 2009 Vancouver is ready to accommodate.

To help exalt the joys of biking and promote a healthy and active lifestyle Momentum Fitness will be holding the “Bike Month Challenge” to all clients and trainers.

Throughout the month of June the “Bike Month Challenge” will challenge clients to their own personal biking distance goals. They will pick a distance that they will bike and then strive to meet that goal when they are at Momentum Fitness and on their own.

As a greater goal Momentum Fitness hopes to have enough clients and trainers bike together for a combined distance that would take them across Canada, a total of 5621km. They will start in Vancouver biking their way between most major cities across Canada until making it to Cape Spear, Newfoundland, the furthest eastern point of Canada.

Momentum Fitness, a training facility that specializes in personal training, has clients ranging from golfers who want to lower their score to the busy executive who doesn’t have enough time to stay fit. Momentum’s mission is to apply their extensive knowledge and experience towards helping clients achieve a higher level of fitness and quality of life. They have created an environment that is friendly, professional, fun and safe.
