Sale Sharks Complete World-Class Signings with UKFast

Manchester, United Kingdom, May 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- In the largest deal in their history Guinness Premiership high-flyers Sale Sharks have added hosting star UKFast to their stable as main sponsor. The Championship winning club has now made three world beating signings for the new season having already captured World Cup winners Ben Cohen and Jason Robinson in recent weeks.

In reality, like Robinson, UKFast has been associated with the Sharks for the best part of a decade but excitingly for the first time is stepping up to the job of principal sponsor. In an undisclosed seven figure deal, the UKFast brand will now take pride of place on the team shirt in addition to gaining significant exposure at the Sharks’ Edgeley Park ground.

With Cohen, Robinson and UKFast now in place for next season, the Sharks are anticipating a big year, both domestically and in the high-profile Heineken Cup. So that fans can keep on top of the clubs developments during the off season UKFast has also just launched the Sharks’ brand new website at www.salesharks.com.

UKFast’s managing director Lawrence Jones believes the partnership is the natural progression of a decade long connection. “Since becoming technical sponsor back in the Heywood Road days our fortunes as a business have grown in line with Sale’s stature. We look forward to accelerating this over the next three seasons.”
