Former Systems Consultant Took the Uncertainty Out of Business Ownership by Joining ActionCOACH

Through business coaching, Kevin Day endeavors to improve his own lifestyle, whilst also helping his clients improve theirs.

Las Vegas, NV, May 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Kevin Day joins Brad Sugar’s ActionCOACH franchise – the world’s leader in business and executive coaching. When Sugars started the company in 1993, it was still in its nascent stages. By franchising it in 1997, Sugars helped business coaching become more mainstream turning it into the second fastest growing category, behind IT.

Master Licensee Neil Sinclair recently welcomed Day to his ActionCOACH team in the United Kingdom.

“I have recently moved to Mansfield in Nottinghamshire (UK) which is a regional town. However, I can take clients from anywhere within the region,” he said. “For me, the ActionCOACH opportunity is the best way to ‘put something back’ into the business community – and at the same time – it provides me with the ability to control my own destiny.”

Prior to joining ActionCOACH, Day was a business consultant concentrating on Enterprise Resource Planning and Business Intelligence systems. He is also a qualified accountant.

In his previous career, Day provided consulting services to a company setting up an electronic financial transactions switch in Uganda. His role was to investigate the market and provide business and technical advice on the best way to accomplish the switch setup.

“The switch now links all the banks in the country and also provides links to Visa and MasterCard,” he said.

With many accomplishments under his belt, Day was also instrumental in setting up accounting systems for a multi-million pound turnover company.

“Following this, I recommended a restructuring of the company to enable it to be proactive – rather than reactive– in the market place. The company was also able to save around £500,000 annually in overhead costs,” he said. “Outside of business, I coached a teenage female army cadet enabling her to gain entry into the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst. She is now a successful officer in the British Army.”

Day spent 10 years in the Territorial Army (part-time) and followed that with five years as an instructor with the Army Cadet Force “giving back” to the community.

When he came in contact with ActionCOACH, Day found it to be a professional organization with a marketable proposition.

“The level of background support provided by ActionCOACH and my Master Licensee is very impressive,” he said. “It is very difficult to find consulting work in the current economic climate; having many clients rather than one at a time is more stable – and ActionCOACH will help me build my business without the bumps inherent in typical start-ups.”

Day was also attracted to the ActionCOACH franchise due to the prospect of controlling his destiny and earnings.

“I wanted to be able to take control of my own life and ‘put something back’ into the community,” he said. “I also wanted to be able to spend more time with my family and ActionCOACH will allow me to do this now.”

Day is excited about the ActionCOACH opportunity.

“The expectation of broadening my horizons by learning new skills such as sales and marketing, whilst also being able to help small business owners improve their lifestyles prompted me to join ActionCOACH,” he said. “As an experienced business consultant and qualified accountant, I am able to quickly analyze a company’s figures and identify areas for improvement.”
