Through Her Extensive Research, Ann Turner Found ActionCOACH to be the Best Return on Investment

With a quest to help the business community in Harrisburg, Ann Turner invested in an ActionCOACH franchise.

Las Vegas, NV, May 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Ann Turner was looking for a career in business coaching, when upon researching the industry, she decided on investing in Brad Sugars' ActionCOACH franchise.

“I was looking for an opportunity to help people and give back to the community,” she said. “I combined that desire with my business experience as well as my MBA education and found ActionCOACH to be the direction I wanted to pursue.”

Turner who will be practicing in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania – a community in the greater Harrisburg metropolitan area – was impressed by her first contact with ActionCOACH.

“My first view of ActionCOACH was with the Pennsylvania team, which has truly excelled in the industry,” she said. “I was immediately impressed with their professionalism, their teamwork, their service to clients and their dedication to continuous learning.”

Turner will balance her personal and professional life, as a result of the flexibility she will enjoy in her new role as an ActionCOACH Business Coach.

“I was looking for a rewarding career that would allow me to spend time with my family, provide me with enough flexibility to indulge in my passion for travel and bring me into contact with a wide variety of people and businesses,” she said. “I am also motivated by the business owners in the Central Pennsylvania area, who are working hard to survive and thrive in these recessionary times.”

Turner’s career spans many industries – including airlines, auto, healthcare, education and government. She spent seven years in the Finance division at Delta Airlines. Most recently, she worked in a family-owned automobile dealership.

Turner made many contributions to Delta and the automobile company she worked at, including working through the turbulent times following the 9-11 attacks.

“I helped guide Delta Air Lines’ low-cost carrier (Delta Express) and its business East Coast shuttle (Delta Shuttle) through the turbulent times that followed 9-11,” she said. “During my tenure in the automobile industry, I helped lead several initiatives to address major shifts in the industry, like cost restructuring, process improvements and organizational rationalization – to name a few.”

“I have a great deal of experience working with people, individually and in teams, to maximize productivity, learning, and continuous improvement within the business,” she said. “My experience over the past decade has polished my financial and business acumen and has given me a significant amount of knowledge in aligning marketing, human resources, and operations with the strategic goals of the business.”

An alumnus of the College of William and Mary where she completed her MBA program, Turner is also a long-time member of PEO – a philanthropic organization which promotes educational opportunities for women. Over the years, she has served in many positions in her local church, in community associations and in educational settings.

Turner is a member of the Harrisburg/Camp Hill BNI group. She has also participated in the Harrisburg Chamber of Commerce and is involved in the West Shore Chamber of Commerce.

Master Licensee Don Schin welcomes Turner to his growing team in Pennsylvania.

“I’m excited about working with business owners – an association that will be rewarding for me and bring a new level of prosperity to my clients,” Turner said.
