Menarailstaff and Menaroadstaff to be Absorbed by Elite Recruitment Group


London, United Kingdom, May 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- It has been announced that Elite Recruitment Group (www.eliterecruitmentgroup.com) will now incorporate under its own branding two of the specialist recruitment divisions for Middle East Transportation projects:

Menarailstaff (www.menarailstaff.com) is the division specialised in Rail projects exclusively in the Middle East. The scope of the recruitment operations covers Metros, Light-Rails, Rail and Monorails projects in the region.

Menaroadstaff (www.menaroadstaff.com) is the division specialised in Road projects and Traffic, also dedicated to the Middle East. The scope of the recruitment operations covers Roads, Highways, Parking, Tunnels, Bridges & Viaducts, Traffic Engineering & Safety, taxis & buses operations, landscaping and all associated domains.

These rail and Road & traffic division will now be absorbed into the main brand, Elite Recruitment Group, to offer to their clients a single entry for recruitment in different sectors. Elite Recruitment Group is specialised in the following sectors: Rail, Roads & Traffic, Construction and Oil & gas.

Elite Recruitment Group appointed for 2 landmark Metro projects in India

Elite Recruitment Group, have been appointed in February 2009 to provide the winning Consortium of 2 major Metro projects in India, with sourcing and selection services. The recruitment agency is set to provide the consortium with international technical experts and managers to complement the team already in place. These projects represent more than 58 kilometers of metro lines for investment costs exceeding $3.7bn.

The Consortium will be responsible for the Project and Engineering Management of the Transport Systems (Rolling Stock, Permanent way/Track, Power, Signalling, Telecom, Fare collection and Depots) and its related infrastructures (viaducts, tunnels, stations and buildings).

Elite Recruitment group – Recruitment for the Dubai Metro Operation

Since March 2008, Elite Recruitment Group have been assisting the future Dubai Metro train Operator, in the sourcing and selection of the management team in the various disciplines involved for this new system (Rolling Stock, Telecom, Control Centre, etc).

When completed, Dubai Metro will have a total of 70 kilometres (43 mi) of lines, and 47 stations (including 9 underground stations). Dubai Municipality Public Transport Department expects the metro to carry 1.2 million passengers on an average day, 27,000 passengers per hour for each line, and 355 million passengers per year once both lines are fully operational. It is planned to transport 12% of total trips in Dubai.

2 other lines are currently under consideration:
Blue Line: 47 kilometres (29 mi) line along Emirates Road, exact route currently unknown. Purple Line: 49 kilometres (30 mi) line along Al Khail Road, meant to be an express route between Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport.

Since the initial design phases of the Dubai Metro, Elite Recruitment Group have been providing technical experts and Management profiles to the main parties involved with the design and construction of the Metro (the Client, The Engineer and the DURL). These profiles have been sourced on an international basis, with experience in the most prestigious and challenging metro systems worldwide before joining the Dubai Metro project.
