ShorefireNewJersey.com Merits State Recognition and Support: Website Awarded 2009 Cooperative Marketing Grant

Somers Point, NJ, May 22, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The New Jersey Department of State, Division of Travel and Tourism has rewarded ShorefireNewJersey’s unique video approach and infotainment style by funding their efforts. The grant is earmarked to raise the South Jersey-based company’s public profile and enhance their presence on the web.

ShorefireNewJersey is a video tourism website, engaged in full agreement and cooperative venture with the 'Target Market' described in the 2008 Cape May County Tourism Annual Report and adopted by the balance of the state in 2009.

The entire layout of the site has been redesigned to achieve greater demographic response and stimulate spring and fall visitor traffic.

Targeting Boomers, their children and grandchildren, shorefirenewjersey.com is specifically directed to the nearly nine million users within a five-hour drive to the Jersey shore. Categories are in accord with interests reflected in tourism industry studies and will encompass a fuller range of family preference.

Recognizing the high production and entertainment value of the features presented, the government rewards ShorefireNewJersey with a financial contribution intended to better service the Garden State’s travel and tourism industry.
