Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® Debuts Green Designation

Raleigh, NC, May 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- John Wood, president of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® (RRAR), (www.rrar.com) announced that the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) has launched NAR’s Green Designation. The newest designation was designed to help members better understand how the issues of green and sustainability are affecting real estate. The new training connects real estate professionals with the principles of green as well as with green building trends and practices. REALTORS® who complete this course will understand how the issues of green and sustainability impact all facets of real estate. Achieving NAR’s Green Designation can be accomplished exclusively online through REALTOR® University.

“We are excited that NAR is offering this course,” said Raymond Larcher, executive vice president of RRAR. “This will give our members an opportunity to provide their clients with the best service possible and expand the services they offer.”
