)-- JRTech Solutions, a retail systems provider, is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Pricer, to offer Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) technology to Canadian retailers.
This collaboration further fulfills JRTech’s commitment to providing high-tech retail solutions, allowing retailers to improve store efficiencies and reduce costs.
“Our ESL line will help retailers control their costs by reducing the inefficiency and expenses associated with manual price label changes. It will allow traditional retailers to behave more like online retailers and as a result, gain a unique and unprecedented competitive advantage in the bricks and mortar retail market,” says Jody D’Amico, President of JRTech Solutions.
The Electronic Shelf Label system offered by JRTech Solutions is controlled by infrared technology which permits two-way communication between the electronic price tag and the store’s price database. It allows retailers to update the pricing and product details throughout the store. Each label then emits a signal back to the system confirming that the change was applied. By employing this innovative technology, store owners will experience new flexibility in executing marketing campaigns and pricing strategies.
Furthermore, as retailers move away from providing consumers with paper and plastic bags, ESL technology provides yet another way for retailers to help preserve the environment.
“By eliminating the large amounts of paper and ink associated with printing and reprinting traditional price labels, retailers can have a positive impact on the environment,” says President of JRTech, Jody D’Amico.
