Newest ActionCOACH in the UK Wishes He Had Come Across an ActionCOACH in His Own Business

Rob Carter loves the idea of helping fellow business owners succeed – while also building his own business.

Las Vegas, NV, June 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Rob Carter –who recently joined Master Licensee Tom Malone’s ActionCOACH team in the United Kingdom –wishes he had come across an ActionCOACH Business Coach when he was running his previous businesses.

“Founder and CEO Brad Sugars’ vision for the company and his ‘14 Points of Culture’ had me captivated from the outset and any reservations I had about the business were instantly dispelled the morning I spoke with a number of existing coaches,” he said. “I found them to be refreshingly open, honest, pragmatic and helpful; I knew these were the type of people I wanted to rub shoulders with in the future.”

After many years of successfully working in businesses that embraced the principles of ownership and responsibility, Carter got involved in a global organization that didn’t adopt this attitude.

“This type of corporate existence didn’t interest me at all and I felt I needed to leave it behind and do something that utilized my skills and interests in a more fulfilling way,” he said. “I have also developed a yearning to expand myself as I feel I haven’t yet achieved the potential I am capable of.”

The idea of helping others exceed their own expectations is attractive to Carter.

“I was looking for a business opportunity to utilize my skills to help people exceed their potential,” he said. “The vision and culture of ActionCOACH is second to none in the business coaching marketplace. It was so compelling that I felt I would always have been disappointed –had I not taken up the challenge to be an ActionCOACH.”

Prior to joining the ActionCOACH franchise, Carter ran a number of businesses involving retail, distribution and manufacturing. He was also Managing Director of a 30M turnover business that brought “aspirational” bathrooms to the UK and parts of Europe.

Having been a business owner, Carter has a good understanding of the issues and challenges faced by fellow business owners.

“I have both the emotional intelligence and the all-round technical knowledge necessary in guiding business owners to achieve their business and personal goals,” he said. “I have also gained significant experience from studying various counseling techniques.”

Based out of Bristol, Carter will serve the Bristol and North Somerset business community.

A member of the GWE Business West, 4Networking and the BNI, Carter also works with a cancer charity specializing in complimentary care for people with cancer and their supporters. He also runs with a local running club and enjoys running 10 kilometer and half marathon races.
