Mark E. Spund, partner and head of the Employment and Labor Law practice area at Davidoff Malito & Hutcher LLP participated in a CLE Seminar, "Practical Skills -- How to Commence a Civil Lawsuit."

Garden City, NY, June 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Mr. Spund presented, "Discovery - An Overview" which stressed individual judges' and local rules to 234 attorneys in New York City. The seminar, sponsored by the New York State Bar Association, was attended by a total of 582 attorneys in six locales throughout New York State.

Mr. Spund, an Oceanside, NY resident, has extensive experience in employment litigation and represents clients against claims of discrimination, wrongful discharge, retaliation and other employer-employee disputes. He regularly advises employers in the development of internal policies and procedures, handbook writing and revision, training related to sexual harassment and other human resource issues, hiring and firing decisions and counsels clients on risk management in regard to employment practices. In addition, Mr. Spund is a member of the faculty of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law Intensive Trial Advocacy Program.
