Alan Quarry Appointed Entrepreneur in Residence at Laurier’s School of Business and Economics
Waterloo, Canada, June 06, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Alan Quarry, Chairman and CEO of Quarry Integrated Communications, has been appointed Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at Wilfrid Laurier University. During this one-year appointment, Quarry will serve as a resource and advisor to aspiring entrepreneurs within the Laurier School of Business & Economics.

Quarry’s entrepreneurial career began in 1988, when he became president of the firm, R.M. Quarry Advertising Agency Ltd., founded by his father, Robert M. Quarry. Since then, he has been a driving force behind Quarry Integrated Communications’ growth. Appointments including president of the Advertising Agency Network International and the Trans-Canada Advertising Agency Network, as well as numerous teaching posts at Wilfrid Laurier University, reflect his success as an innovator and leader.
Every year, Laurier appoints a distinguished entrepreneur to the position of Entrepreneur in Residence, as part of its EIR program. The selected appointee meets with, counsels and advises students on how to achieve success as an entrepreneur.
