WorkSmart Partners with Susan G. Komen for the Cure® NC Triangle Affiliate

Firm to Provide In-Kind IT Support Services.

Komen For the Cure® NC Triangle Affiliate. As part of the partnership formalized at the start of 2009, WorkSmart will provide IT support services to help promote the organization’s mission.

WorkSmart will provide in-kind IT services to the local Komen affiliate through 2011. They also recently supported the organization’s move to new offices in downtown Raleigh, ensuring uninterrupted operation of IT networks and providing key business continuity services. In addition to their pro-bono services, WorkSmart organized a team to participate in the 2009 Komen NC Triangle Race for the Cure® to be held Saturday, June 13th at Meredith College in Raleigh.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the global leader of the breast cancer research and prevention movement and has invested more than $1 billion since 1982. Events such as the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and generous contributions from partners, sponsors and supporters have made the organization the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
