ThinkFastMoveFaster.com Engages Social Media Reporters

Reporting Tailored to Member Interests

Richmond, VA, June 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- VABION LLC (VABION) and its Atlanta-based subsidiary, Social Media Solutions, announced today that its athlete community website www.ThinkFastMoveFaster.com has engaged social media reporters for member-relevant perspectives on fitness-related issues for its members and visitors. During the week of June 1, 2009 reporters interviewed and created a video “short” on the inaugural National Running Day, June 3.

Jason Yu, social media and marketing director for the company, decided to cover the National Running Day story. “National Running Day has a great potential appeal, such as ‘National Stop Smoking Day,’ because it can help everyone focus on improving health,” said Yu. “But no one in my circle had heard of it, and I decided to create a story on awareness. The result turned out to be an opportunity for awareness through humor.”

The report, in the form of a video clip, is posted on YouTube.com and www.ThinkFastMoveFaster.com. “Video reporting with impromptu ‘news desks’ is nothing new on the Web,” said Dr. Susan Hardwicke, chief executive of VABION LLC. “What’s unique about our approach is that we proactively consider what will be of interest to our demographic and create a multi-media video clip based on real peoples’ actions. We can notify our following through a variety of channels, including Facebook and Twitter. This is real personalization of content.”

VABION LLC established a subsidiary to address the social media market in health and fitness. VABION Social Media Solutions LLC is headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Susan Hardwicke, chief executive of VABION, said, “Atlanta is currently the east cost hub for social media, and we want to leverage the knowledge and human resource base to grow this new venture into a leadership position. Social media combined with our existing knowledge base in health, fitness and nutraceuticals promises to be a high-growth opportunity.”

VABION recently launched its first Web 2.0 solution, an online community for athletes called www.ThinkFastMoveFaster.com in a joint venture with Atlanta-based Aqua Blue Marketing, Inc. The new strategy allows VABION to expand its client base to include companies in the fitness, health and related industries.

“Building online communities with outstanding, rich content will leverage the company’s background and capabilities in technology, science, and product development,” said.

Dr. Susan Hardwicke, CEO and chief scientist at VABION. Dr. Hardwicke has an extensive background in combining technology with technical content, databases, and applications. She previously founded Edutest.com, the first online educational testing solution, which is now owned by Plato Learning, Inc.

“VABION has a very high revenue potential with this new platform and has developed a user following even before launch,” said Alexa Ellis, Creative Director of Aqua Blue Marketing. “Web 2.0 enables them to grow their business and to partner with companies of all sizes, instead of competing for market share,” she added.
