Integrated Development in Focus (DIF) was formed and inaugurated as a capacity building, social development agency involved primarily in poverty reduction, preventive health education, reproductive health, rural/urban development and the development of networks.

Currently, Integrated Development in Focus seeks social workers, students with an interest in international development, child rights educators, community sanitation officers and development fundraising officers to work towards empowering persons in lesser developed countries such as Ghana to realize sustainable growth and development.

Ikando provides skilled volunteers and interns to organisations in Ghana, West Africa. Their objective is to help more people gain the life changing, life affirming experiences that volunteering can give. They are committed to enabling skill transfer, enabling organisations in the developing world to access different skill sets and to helping volunteers realize the value they can add using the skills they hold.

Ikando hopes their volunteers will become responsible global citizens as a result of their experience with Ikando, promoting the need for social change and raising awareness in their home communities on the issues they encountered. Africa has a lot of offer but also needs support, the support it rightfully deserves.
