Triangle Business Journal Honors Debbie Houston with Women in Business Award.

Raleigh, NC, August 15, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Don Walston, president and CEO of Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston, has announced that Debbie Houston has been honored by the Triangle Business Journal as one of the Triangle's top women in business. Houston is one of 25 women to receive the award recognizing their business accomplishments in the Triangle. The award ceremony was held at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel on Thursday, August 10 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Debbie S. Houston, MIRM, CSP, Broker, President of Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston Builder Services Howard Perry and Walston, entered the Raleigh/Triangle real estate market as a general brokerage associate in 1978. She holds the CSP designation, is a Member of the Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM) and is a licensed real estate Broker. Houston has been a national speaker for Better Homes and Gardens and the National Home Builders Association. In 1997 she created the New Home Marketing System new construction manual for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Services in Des Moines, Iowa, to be used by over 800 Better Homes and Gardens/GMAC national franchises throughout the country. Houston is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and serves on the Residential Neighborhood Development Council.
