Increasing Demands for Specialized Guidance in Intellectual Property Litigation Lead to New Trial Advocacy Series Commencing June 2009

Boca Raton, FL, June 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- With the increasing importance of protecting intellectual property assets in the current economy, in-house corporate counsel and those who are charged with overseeing IP assets and litigation, have demanded specialized guidance in efficient and successful IP litigation. Responding to such demands, Celesq® AttorneysEd Center today announced a new series that will cover practical tips, techniques and strategies for all phases of IP litigation.

The Trial Advocacy Series is designed especially for all in-house counsel who may want to learn about successful strategies for IP litigation from the pre-trial through post-trial stages, and for all in-house and outside IP practitioners and litigators. The programs, part of the Celesq®-West IP Master Series, are presented by highly-respected trial practitioners from McDermott Will & Emery LLP, including partner Blair M. Jacobs, Esq., an experienced trial attorney who teaches trial advocacy at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and who served on the faculty of the Attorney General's Advocacy Institute while at the Department of Justice, and partner Robert J. Walters, Esq., who has tried numerous cases before juries and frequently speaks and writes on intellectual property litigation topics.

The series kicks off on June 22, 2009 with “Trial Advocacy: What All Counsel Should Know About Trials in Patent and Other Intellectual Property Cases (1956IP).” Attorneys wishing to register for the live web cast, or to learn more about the program, may visit www.celesq.com and click on the live web cast banner.
