Robert Hearn, Owner of Bob's Appliance Repair Announces Help for the Needy

Bob's Appliance repair is donating time for the needy. Robert Hearn and his wife Iris Hearn, are donating anything they can to help the needy in this time of need with our economy.

Morton, PA, June 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Robert Hearn has once again put his heart to good use as the owner of Delaware County's number one appliance repair business. Robert will donate his time to help the needy.

Every year Mr. Hearn donates time, or money, or appliances, but this years it's different. Robert plans on helping the elderly with home improvement projects.
He and his wife, Iris Hearn, will go and paint, fix plumbing, repair electrical, or just speak with the elderly who may not have anyone else to converse with.

When asked why he does what he does, Mr Hearn simply responded, "Because I love doing it."

Previously, the duo have fed the hungry by actually walking the streets of Center City, handing out food they prepared the night before. They have visited hospitals, and shelters.

"They're not well known like actors," says Dan Foy of an un-named facility, "But the elderly and less fortunate love it that someone cares enough to donate their time, and money."

"Robert and Iris hearn will always have a special place in my heart," says Kevin Lilbride, a close friend, "They have huge huge hearts."

The two are planning a summer project where some of the elderly people around the tri state area can play games, chat with other people, and simply enjoy their lives for a while.
