Taiwan’s Min-Sheng Hospital and TerraAsia/MedAsia Enter Cooperation Agreement
Min-Sheng Hospital was chosen by TerraAsia/MedAsia to provide weight loss surgery to Canadian patients.
Taoyuan City, Taiwan, June 20, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Min-Sheng Hospital, a leader in Taiwan’s burgeoning medical travel industry, has entered a cooperation agreement with TerraAsia/MedAsia, a medical travel facilitator based in Montreal, Canada. Following the terms of the agreement, Min-Sheng Hospital will provide medical care to North American patients referred to it by Medasia.
Canadians enjoy at home high quality healthcare covered by their National Health Insurance. However, the availability or the waiting time for some surgical procedures can be quite long. This is forcing patients who cannot, or do not, want to wait for these procedures, to look for alternatives outside their country.
Min-Sheng Hospital and TerraAsia/Medasia will offer Canadian patients, the option to come to Taiwan for surgery, especially for orthopedic and weight loss (bariatric) procedures.
