)-- Aspect, a leading provider of retail LP data mining software and services, announced today that Pamida, a Midwest-based retailer with over 200 stores in 17 states, has reported success in reducing shrink and increasing overall operational efficiencies after recently implementing Aspect’s Exception-Based Reporting (EBR) solution, Elite LossPREVENTION™. Pamida, after extensive due diligence sourcing a POS and EBR solution, found Aspect's software and VirtualLP™ to be the best-of-breed.
“The Loss Prevention team has found Aspect’s tools exceptional,” commented Joe Anderson, Director of LP. Bill Young, Pamida’s SVP of Operations, added, “Aspect permits us to closely monitor employee compliance with store policies and procedures, resulting in greater efficiencies and customer service. With Aspect’s EBR solution, we anticipate continued reduction in shrink as we proactively manage our company.”
Aspect’s VirtualLP™ team is working with Pamida to build reports that look for specific activities as well as identify employees who have breached policies or committed fraud utilizing Pamida’s unique criteria. The Pamida and Aspect teams utilize AutoMIND™, a module for Elite LossPREVENTION™, to automate the detection of high-risk transactions indicative of fraud. The system automatically flags suspect transactions and alerts the store or respective LP manager via a multitude of electronic messaging options.
Commenting on Pamida’s success, David Duhaime, CEO of Aspect remarked, “We are extremely pleased with the results that Pamida and our many other major retailer customers are obtaining with Aspect's suite of products and services. Their success substantiates our commitment to provide state-of-the-art solutions and techniques that drive bottom-line results.
