Vermont Video Resume Project Announces Initiative to Support the Unemployed

The Vermont Video Resume Project utilizes 21st Century technology to empower the unemployed community in their job search. Social Media is driving this community run project, increasing reach and efficiency for Vermonters. Web Video Resumes are a tool that give the unemployed an edge finding a new career.

Burlington, VT, June 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Vermont Video Resume Project (VTVP) is live and searching for unemployed members of the Vermont community to receive free Web Video Resumes. Volunteers looking to help, and people looking for work, may find more information at www.VideoResumeVT.com.

VTVP is a community organized project that will provide free web video resumes to any unemployed Vermonter. Participants may sign up by entering their name, email, and questions at www.VideoResumeVT.com. Unemployed Vermonters will be notified of the date, time, and location to appear for the production of their web video resume.

7Days, Vermont's Independent Voice, a local news source, has partnered with VTVP to create a resource for the unemployed.
