IEI's PCIE-9450 is designed to meet all requirements defined by the PICMG1.3 standard. It uses the new generation Intel® LGA775 that offers better solder-joint and pin contact coverage Empowered by an Intel® dual-core Intel® Pentium® D FSB 1066MHz processor, the CPU board enables digital convergence, and delivers enhanced stability, productivity and flexibility for improved business collaboration.
The PCIE-9450 comes with Intel® 945G Express Chipset that delivers outstanding system performance through high-bandwidth interfaces such as dual-channel DDR2 memory, 1066/800 MHz system bus, PCI Express* x16 graphics port, PCI Express x1 I/O ports, Serial ATA 3.0 Gbps and Hi-Speed USB 2.0 connectivity. This chipset is driven by the Intel® GMA 950 graphics core which provides responsive graphics performance and stunning video playback. A significant addition to the capabilities is that the Intel 945G Express Chipset includes support for Intel® Active Management Technology, the next generation of remote client networks management.
Enhanced Broadband Transfer Rate and Meeting Higher Security Demands
The PCIE-9450 comes with 4 x DDRII 240-pin DIMM slots for DDRII-667 MHz SDRAM for building a large buffer with the size up to 4GB and 2 x PCI Express 1Gbps Ethernet ports. With an eye on the increasing demands on data transfer speed, IEI added 4 x SATAII-300 and 7 x USB2.0 ports for the connectivity to a wide range of peripheral devices More significantly, with the help of Intel® Matrix Storage Technology, storage and data distribution is safe from single disk failure through RAID levels 1, 5, and 10; not to mention the dramatic performance gains by the simultaneous access to multiple disk drives. All of the technical features presented on the PCIE-9450 aim to deliver extreme performance and to satisfy demands of today's applications.
PICMG 1.3 backplane and 24-pin ATX RoHS power supply
The world's first PICMG 1.3 SBC is accompanied by two new backplanes, PE-10S and PE-6S, that are also made in accordance with the PICMG 1.3 form factors, and a new generation 24-pin ATX, RoHS-compliant power supply, ACE-850AP. The PE-10S backplane provides one PCI-Express x16 slot， one PCI-Express x4 or x1 slots， three PCI-Express x1 slots, and four PCI slots. The PE-6S backplane provides one PCI-Express x16 slot，one PCI-Express x4 or x1 slot， one PCI-Express x1 slot, and two PCI slots.
