New: Program Grande Ecole Taught 100% in English

Studying 100% of the Grande Ecole program in English is now possible at Grenoble Ecole de Management. Alongside this new opportunity, other international study tracks will also be available from September 2009.

Grenoble, France, July 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Starting in September 2009:

New English language Grande Ecole program
Grenoble Ecole de Management is launching a Program Grande Ecole taught 100% in English. This three year course is open to 80 students, who will be trained by international faculty in mixed-nationality classes.

Two new study tracks in London
Furthermore, French students now have the opportunity for their second or third year to follow two of the programs available on Grenoble Graduate School of Business’s London campus – the Master in International Business or the MSc in Finance.

Trilingual study track in Grenoble
40 French students will have the opportunity of embarking on a trilingual study track based on the language pedagogy: ‘Content and Language Integrated Learning’ (CLIL).

CLIL involves teaching a curricular subject through the medium of a language other than the first language of the learners involved. Courses will be delivered in English, French, and Spanish or German during the entire length of study of the selected students. CLIL has proven to be very effective in the apprenticeship of a language and of content. While students learn the content, they learn the language and vice versa.

In total, 15 international study tracks are available to French students already:
Global Tech
Since September 2007, second and third year Grande Ecole students can opt for the Global Tech program, taught exclusively in English. The content is the same as the classic Grande Ecole curriculum. Aside from classes, Global Tech also includes an internship project during which students work with a start-up company assisting it in the fields of marketing, finance, and R&D.
Bachelor in International Business (BIB)
Students can follow the first year of the English BIB and graduate with a double degree BIB/ Grande Ecole.
Master in International Business (MIB)
Students can study towards the English MIB during their second year and graduate with the double degree MIB/ Grande Ecole.
Masters of Science
Students have the possibility of choosing one of the five MSc available (Finance, Marketing, Innovation, Business Development and Management Consulting) during their third year and again graduate with a double degree MSc/ Grande Ecole.
International Business abroad
Students can opt to study part of their program abroad at one of Grenoble’s 100 academic partner schools or carry out a company internship at a foreign business.
Double degree accords with international partner institutions
20 double degree accords are available to students further to key academic partnerships worldwide.

Jean-François Fiorina, director of the French Grande Ecole of Grenoble Ecole de Management said: “International at Grenoble does not just mean a quick trip abroad, all of our students must have gone through a significant international experience before graduating. Those who wish to, can do much more! Our students can decide the degree of ‘international’ and English language they want to experience and this is why we offer so many different international study tracks in order to meet their needs.”
