Quantum3D Delivers Multiple Follow-On Systems to Edwards AFB in Support of F-35 Flight Test

San Jose, CA, July 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Quantum3D, Inc., a leading provider of Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) real-time visual computing solutions, announced today that they fulfilled an additional follow-on delivery of multiple systems to SYMVIONICS Inc. for use at Edwards Air Force Base as part of Quatum3D’s continued support of the U.S. Air Force F-35 Manned Flight Simulation Test Program.

This recent delivery to Edwards Air Force Base demonstrates Quantums3D’s staying power and commitment to the F-35 Program and the visual simulation market space. “We have enjoyed a long-standing and mutually rewarding relationship with Symvionics and the U.S. Air Force over the years, collaborating on many fixed wing synthetic environment flight test programs,” said Brian Overy, Quantum3D’s VP of Business Development. “We look forward to continuing our successful partnership with Symvionics with F-35 Flight Test Support and future USAF air combat training programs.”

The Independence IDX Image Generators have eight out the window channels used to drive a 360-degree visual display system and four sensor channels.

“We selected the Quantum3D Independence IDX 4000 because of its functionality, the commonality between our systems, its high reliability, its low life cycle costs and the ease of use,” said Woody Woodbury at Symvionics – Edwards Air Force Base.
