Las Vegas Bankruptcy Attorneys Haines & Krieger Launch New Bankruptcy and Loan Modification Website

Haines & Krieger, P.C., the leading consumer bankruptcy law firm in Las Vegas, has announced the launch of its new consumer-friendly bankruptcy and loan modification website this week

Las Vegas, NV, July 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Haines & Krieger, P.C., the leading consumer bankruptcy law firm in Las Vegas, has announced the launch of its new consumer-friendly bankruptcy website this week—www.hainesandkrieger.com.

The new website is designed to help Nevada citizens learn about the bankruptcy process, understand the rights and protections available to them under the 2005 bankruptcy laws, and make informed choices about how to best deal with financial challenges such as foreclosure, credit card debt and unemployment.

“Las Vegas residents are facing really tough times,” said Dave Krieger, one of the founders of the firm. “We live here too, and we just want to make sure people have access to the best resource and to all the information they need to figure out how to move forward with their lives.”

The new website includes an FAQ section on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies as well as step-by-step explanation of how bankruptcy works.

“Bankruptcy is already challenging enough,” adds George Haines, the other founding partner. “And with the changes to the bankruptcy code in 2005, we knew there was a need for a comprehensive, easy to understand resource for individuals who are struggling financially.”

Nevada has consistently ranked as the state with the highest number of foreclosures per household. In the first quarter of 2009, approximately 1 in every 56 households in Las Vegas received a foreclosure filing, and approximately 1 in 67 households in the state of Nevada received a foreclosure filing. In April, NPR Radio ran a feature story on Las Vegas referring to it as “Foreclosure City.”

“We’re not just lawyers, we’re also translators in a sense,” says Krieger, whose firm offers free initial consultations. “We recognize that it’s important to present information about bankruptcy in a way that makes sense to an average person.”

George Haines and David Krieger each have over 10 years of bankruptcy practice experience. They founded Haines & Krieger in Las Vegas together in 2004 after practicing bankruptcy and business law in New York and New Jersey. They are both members of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the American Bar Association and the American Consumer Bankruptcy College.
