According to the National Institutes of Health, doctors in the United States perform more than 600,000 total knee replacements each year. Candidates for this surgery can have end-stage arthritis of the knee joint, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or osteonecrosis, among other types of joint problems.
AOSMI’s Dr. Banzon will provide information about computer-aided knee replacement and its advantages, such as smaller incisions, faster recovery, less bleeding, less pain, and increased implant longevity.
