Philadelphia, PA, July 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- LCFL Champions Philadelphia Panthers Play Against the Chiefs in DC

On Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 7:00pm, the Philadelphia Panthers, a Professional Minor League Football Team, and Champions of the 2008 Labelle Community Football League (LCFL), will take on the Washington Chiefs in Washington, DC. The game will be held at Cardozo High School Football Field, located at Cardozo High School, 13th and Florida Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20008.

The Philadelphia Panthers is a 501{C}3 nonprofit Professional Minor League Football Team. The mission of the team is to develop Strength, Honor and Integrity throughout the organization. The Philadelphia Panthers is one of many teams within the Labelle Community Football League. Mr. Damascene Pierre Paul founded the LCFL in 2003.

The Labelle Community Football League (LCFL) is one of the most competitive Professional Minor League Football Organizations in America. The LCFL provides skilled football players a forum to display and refine their skills as they reach the professional levels of their sport. The Labelle Community Football League (LCFL) has some of the best teams and talent on the Western, Southern and Eastern Coast. The Labelle Community Football league (LCFL) has attracted the attention of several professional leagues and has successfully graduated many of their players to professional teams throughout the U.S.

Legendary entertainer and philanthropist Ms.Patti Labelle endorses the LCFL by getting involved in league activities. Other well known supporters of the Labelle Community Football League (LCFL) include former NFL football player and NBC anchorman Maurice Spencer; Ray Lewis of the Baltimore Ravens; Adalius Thomas of the New England Patriots; Terrell Owens of the Dallas Cowboys; Reggie Bush of the New Orleans Saints; Donovan McNabb of the Philadelphia Eagles; Mark Clayton of the Baltimore Ravens; and former Super Bowl champion Az Hakim to name a few. The Labelle Community Football League is not only endorsed by well-known NFL players, but has been prominently sponsored by several Fortune 500 companies in America.

The Labelle Community Football League (LCFL) currently has 27 teams nationwide, with 19 representing the West Coast. Those numbers look to increase in the near future.
