HSI Announces New Chief Learning Officer

Eugene, OR, July 26, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Health & Safety Institute (HSI) family of brands, comprised of American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI), MEDIC FIRST AID International, and 24-7 EMS, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Lindsey to the HSI Executive Team as Chief Learning Officer.

Prior to joining Health & Safety Institute, Jeff worked as the Education Coordinator for 24-7 EMS and provided medical direction for video production. Jeff is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine, Emergency Health Services; and Director of the Emergency Services Management graduate program at George Washington University (Washington, D.C.). Jeff is also an accomplished public speaker, the author of numerous books and publications, and actively serves on a variety of industry committees, councils, and EMS Advisory Groups.

In addition to his professional background, Jeff has his Doctorate of Philosophy in Instructional Technology/Adult Education and Master of Education in Instructional Technology from the University of South Florida. He also has a Master of Safety Engineering Technology from Kennedy-Western University, a Bachelor of Science in Fire and Safety Engineering Technology from the University of Cincinnati, and his Associate in Arts Degree in Paramedic Training.
