Trinity Academy of Raleigh Student Wins Durham Bulls Writing Contest

Raleigh, NC, July 29, 2009 --( Dr. Robert Littlejohn, head of school at Trinity Academy of Raleigh (, a preK-12 college preparatory school community located in North Raleigh, has announced that Jack Morgan, a fourth grade student at the academy, is the winner of the Durham Bulls Father’s Day Writing Contest for his essay titled, “Why My Dad Should Be A Durham Bull.”

As a winner, Jack and his family were treated to a day with the Durham Bulls, including a ride to and from the park, a tour of the ballpark, seats behind home plate and passes to the Bull’s VIP lounge for food and drinks. His essay was read during the pre-game show with the family on the field. Jack’s father was presented with a custom Bull’s jersey that read “Morgan”, and he was given the game ball.

“We are pleased that Jack’s essay was chosen as the winning essay for the Durham Bulls Father’s Day Essay contest,” said Littlejohn. “The gift that Jack gave to his father was so special, and I am sure it is a memory that the family will treasure.”
