Events include a free lecture, a weeklong Integrative Restoration (iRest) Yoga Nidra training, and weekend workshops on meditative approaches to yoga and iRest. Miller has over 35 years experience as a yoga teacher and clinical psychologist and has been honored by Yoga Journal as one of the top 25 teachers in North America. He is the director of the non-profit Center for Timeless Being, co-founder of the International Association of Yoga Therapy and co-founder and past president of the Institute for Spirituality and Psychology. Presently, he is a consultant on research projects studying the healing impact of the Integrative Restoration iRest Yoga Nidra protocol that he has developed with such diverse populations as U.S. soldiers experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder, the homeless, and people with chronic pain.

The weeklong iRest training from November 8-13, 2009, will be held at Balcones Springs Retreat Center in Marble Falls, Texas. Participants will receive 42 hours of yoga training. IRest is a transformative practice derived from the ancient meditation and relaxation approach of Yoga Nidra that leads to lasting psychological, physical, and spiritual healing.
