My Private Chef Presents Fresh Menu Ideas at the Popular Chicago Botanic Garden Chef Series

Chicago, IL, August 17, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Chef Christopher Tong of My Private Chef will share his culinary expertise as he presents a cooking demonstration featuring seasonal fresh ingredients during the Chicago Botanic Garden’s popular annual Garden Chef Series.

Chef Tong will appear on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. in the Regenstein Fruit & Vegetable Garden, Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Cook Road, Glencoe, Illinois.

The Garden Chef Series promotes the Garden’s message of growing and using seasonal vegetables, fruits and herbs. The chefs will the use the spectacular open-air kitchen and amphitheater at the Regenstein Fruit & Vegetable Garden to present their cooking demonstrations.

Chef Tong will prepare Spicy Shrimp served with Watermelon, Jicama and Cucumber salad. He will give tips on shopping, preparing, and storing all of the delicious ingredients. And, of course, everyone gets a taste!
