SkillWho.com Launches Local Job Search

In the midst of one of the worst job markets in decades, SkillWho.com launches a comprehensive local employment search to help the unemployed find jobs.

San Diego, CA, August 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- SkillWho.com, a social network for sharing and finding skills and talents, announced the beta release of a national U.S. job search (http://www.skillwho.com/jobs.aspx ) section of their website. The service aggregates job listings from around the country and sorts them by city and category, making it easier for job seekers to find the exact type of work they are looking for in their local area. There are over 200 job categories and thousands of cities containing listings. Jobs range from military, to business, to creative, to technology, science, babysitting, and everything in between. SkillWho plans to improve this service in the coming weeks.

"We're excited about this new feature of our site. The past few days it's already seen a lot of activity from our membership," says SkillWho CEO, Aaron Mendes. "People are really struggling to find jobs so I hope our job search helps a few of them."

SkillWho.com's Co-Founder and CTO, Paul Kitchen says, "The service we're using for job listings is unique in that it aggregates job listings from all over the web into one place. Also, we created recommended search terms for over 200 job fields to make it easier for job searchers to find what they're looking for in their local area."
