Truffle Hunting Weekends in Italy Launched by Love Umbria

Rome, Italy, August 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Building on the success of its truffle hunting excursions in Italy Love Umbria today announced the launch of truffle hunting weekends in Umbria for autumn 2009.

On the truffle weekends, participants will not only get the chance to join a professional truffle hunter and his dogs on their daily truffle hunt in the beautiful forests of Umbria but will also learn to prepare truffle dishes at a rustic cooking lesson. The truffle hunt is also followed by a delicious truffle lunch consisting of truffle dishes and other locally-sourced food and wine. The truffle hunting weekends run from Friday to Sunday so are perfect for a weekend away or as part of a longer gourmet tour in Italy.
