Greek Fiesta Returns to Central NC Pagan Pride Day

For the 3rd year in a row, Greek Fiesta will provide concessions at Central NC Pagan Pride Day.

Raleigh, NC, August 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- "We are very excited to have Greek Fiesta provide concessions at the [Central NC Pagan Pride Day Festival] for the third year in a row. In nearly a decade of hosting the festival, we have never received so many compliments about both the variety and quality of food, and from meat lovers and vegetarians alike, which is no small accomplishment," said Johnson Davis, a festival official.

"This will be our first two day event and is projected to have the largest attendance we have ever seen, ushering us into a new level of red tape with both our venue and with the county health department. Greek Fiesta has worked directly with both organizations on our behalf to smooth the way, relieving pressure and reducing the workload for our already heavily taxed volunteer organization," said Michelle Basnett, the Local Coordinator for the 2009 event.

"Central NC Pagan Pride Day Festival once again reminded me that no matter how diverse we might look and live from each other, we all share similar values of family and friendship, cultural and social concerns, and faith. Therefore, I would like to thank The Central NC Pagan Pride Project for providing this unique opportunity that enables us to experience and appreciate pagan culture so closely," said the founder of the Greek Fiesta.
