Mompreneur Helps Fellow Moms Break Free

Calgary Mompreneur and owner of One Tiny Suitcase, Stacey Corbett writes a monthly column in Birth of a Mother magazine to help other moms find the balance between a career and motherhood.

Calgary, Canada, August 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Calgary Mompreneur Stacey Corbett started her business in 2006 when her twins were just 2 years old. After 3 years of working hard on building a business and a family, she is ready to help other moms discover the benefits of working from home.

One Tiny Suitcase, a Baby Equipment Rental Company with locations in Calgary & Edmonton, was started when owner Stacey Corbett was frustrated with her work/family situation. She started the business after a family vacation with her twins. She realized just how much gear they needed but were unable to pack. Modeled after baby equipment rental companies in the USA, One Tiny Suitcase was born.

On motherhood and entrepreneurship Stacey Corbett says, “My husband and I tried every different child care/work arrangement we could. Running my own business from home while raising my kids has given me the most freedom to balance the best of both worlds.”

As a successful Mompreneur, Stacey now wants to help fellow Moms find a business that helps them balance their career aspirations with motherhood. She writes a monthly column for Birth of a Mother magazine on being a Mompreneur. Topics include how to start with a business idea, tips for balancing work and family, etc.
