Writers Have a New Opportunity to Win Cash Prize in Latest Writing Contest

Crawford Writing & Marketing Offers Fall Themed Writing Contest.

Zimmerman, MN, August 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Writers love cash. In an industry and an economy where “cash is king” it’s nice to know there is a new opportunity to put a little more jingle in your pocket.

Writers may seize this opportunity by entering their manuscripts in 1st Annual Fall Writing Contest sponsored by Crawford Writing & Marketing. The guidelines are not hard to follow at all:

Must be 10 years of age or older;
Must have a manuscript of 2,000 words maximum;
Manuscripts must have a Fall Theme (changing leaves, Halloween, etc.)
Must have full contact information on the title page; and
Must have the $10 entry fee accompany each submission.

Writers may enter as many times as they want and must keep the submissions G-rated to PG-rated. Publication and free manuscript critique and consultation are included in the prizes.

Prizes: $300 cash for each age group (10 years old to 17 years old) and (18 years & older).

Deadline for the contest is October 30, 2009. Prizes to be awarded on November 15, 2009.

The 1st Annual Summer Writing Contest only had one winner, Darlene Cole of Clifton Park, New York. Her winning submission, “When Minnie Met Mimi,” was entered in the fictional short story category. The story details a young woman realizing she can communicate with her unborn child.
