Long Island Feng Shui Business Receives GreenAmerica Seal of Approval

Luminous Spaces Feng Shui receives a seal of approval from GreenAmerica's Green Business Network.

Saint James, NY, August 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Luminous Spaces, a Feng Shui consulting business in St. James, NY just received the GreenAmerica’s Green Business Network Seal of Approval. This award demonstrates a business’ commitment to people and the planet through thoughtful business practices and use of resources.

After a lengthy application process and rigorous guidelines, owner Maureen K. Calamia was pleased to receive a certificate awarding this distinction and an exclusive listing in their National Green Pages (greenpages.org).

“I’ve always been a environmentalist and am very active on the Board and as a volunteer at Sweetbriar Nature Center in Smithtown. Limiting my impact on the earth is a top priority to me and my business,” says Maureen.

A privately-held small business, Luminous Spaces offers Feng Shui design and sustainable product guidance to business and residential clients. In addition, Ms. Calamia is co-creator and faculty of the Universal Feng Shui Practitioner Training Program offered at Metropolitan Institute of Design in Syosset, NY and offers Feng Shui workshops throughout the NYC-metro region.

GreenAmerica (formerly Coop-America) is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to create a socially just and environmentally sustainable society through economic action.
